The episode begins with Arnav telling Anjali how she'd never let him miss anyone, not even his parents and that she is his family. Arnav says he'll call his brother-in-law and tell him to ask her to eat. But Anjali says he must be busy. Arnav goes to call anyway. Scene shifts to Manorma telling Mahendra that something is fishy. Mahendra tells her to hush it as the situation in the house is as it is tensed regarding the whole Arnav issue. But Manorma continues anyway saying Anjali fainted yet her hisband didn't even call. There are certain things which are more important than work. Mahendra tells her that Anjali also doesn't like to disturb him in between work. Manorma says that if Anjali is doing so much for her husband she must be expecting something in return as well. She doubts him of having an extra marital affair. Mahendra asks her to shut it and she gets offended. The guard tells Arnav that Khushi is over to see him. Arnav is puzzled and asks him to send her inside. Khushi walks in and sees Arnav. They approach each other having mixed feelings. Khushi gets a little concious and Arnav remembers their confrontation of the previous night. Arnav asks Khushi if she's fine and she looks shocked. Khushi blasts Arnav and sarcastically questions his arrogance. She finally tells him she's resigning and he looks shocked as she hands over her resignation letter. As Arnav is registering this fact, Khushi once again screams at him and tells him that she has not resigned out of fear, she's always worked hard and will continue the same but Arnav went a bit too far with his right to order her and the day he forgot the responsibilities which came with this right, her duties also held irrelevant. She says that she gave a lot of thought to everything while she was locked in the building and her only conclusion was that Arnav and his job can go to hell. She also clarifies that she isn't scared and neither has she lost. Rather, by stooping this low, he is the loser and that too a sore one 'coz he won't admit that it was his fault. She doesn't want to keep any kind of relationship with a man who can't value human life. She says that the contract doesn't matter because her life is more precious and her family realises that and not someone like him who puts her life in danger and then has the audacity to ask her if she's fine. She breaks the contract we and see Nani, Anjali and Manorma as spectators to the whole scene, each looking shocked (check out Manorma's expression. It's hilarious although you'll be so impacted by the scene that it's hard to concentrate on something this irrelavant). Arnav takes a step towards Khushi and she backs off. Arnav asks if she's through with whatever she has to say and reaches his hand. Khushi slams the letter on it and says she's through. Nani calls out to Khushi and she turns to face her absolutely shocked. Khushi apologises for barging in like that but she had to do it so that the resignation wasn't mistaken as her defeat. She gives Arnav one last look and starts to leave. She turns and takes a last look at Arnav. He clutches the letter as Khushi shuts the door (This is a must watch scene! Very powerful enacted so beautifully by SaRun ). A servant stops Khushi and says she can't leave. Khushi says she doesn't work for ASR anymore hence, she needn't obey his orders. Anjali comes and says it isn't an order but a request. She wants to talk for a couple of minutes. She says that she's never seen anyone talk to Arnav like that. Khushi says that she understands that Arnav is her brother but after his behaviour, she only said what she thought fit. Anjali says that it's not a question of whether she's right or wrong but she has a lot of guts. Khushi says there was no other way left. Anjali says Arnav isn't that bad. Maybe they misunderstood each other. Her anger is justified. She also apologises but Khushi says she needn't cpologise for someone who thinks everyone should be scared of him but she's different. She leaves. Payal calls Khushi and asks if everything is fine. Khushi says it's fine and she's resigned. Payal asks if Arnav said something. Khushi said she's coming home only and hangs up. Payal tells Shyam that Khushi seemed worried though she's resigned. Shyam says it's a good thing and she should've quit long back. Payal says that Khushi was working so that she could help Madhumati but now without pension, she's worried how she'll run the household. She enquires what Shyam was doing about the pension problem. Shyam looks mightily worried but says that things are coming along. It's a government thing so takes time (Honestly, it's high time they reveal who he really is and what his intentions are. This whole suspense has been dragged for too long now). Payal asks Shyam if Khushi can get a job at his office. That way no one will trouble Khushi and Payal will not be so worried. Shyam again looks worried. Madhumati calls Payal and Shyam breathes a sigh a relief. She is cribbing about all the work. She calls Shyam to sit with her and asks him who all are there in his family. He says his parents. She asks if he's in talks for marriage. Shyam says she's a bit too old for him . Madhumati says she's talking about a distant relative but Shyam says they should worry about Khushi first. Payal says that Khushi seemed worried and that maybe her mood is off. Shyam calms them down and says they'll life her mood when she comes. Meanwhile Arnav is scrutinising the resignation letter. He crumples and throws it away. Side by side with Khushi, they remember all their moments together including the resignation.
Precap: Khushi is wondering why she isn't feeling good. Arnav is looking at two pearls and Khushi is looking at some keys I guess. They take each others name in anger.
